Like most of you out there, we are fans of video games and sports. Therefore, it’s easy to understand why most of you get a little frustrated when they realise that it’s impossible to enjoy the largest sports franchises on PC, including Madden NFL and MLB The Show. However, there’s no need to fear as there are still plenty of opportunities when it comes to sports games on PC. While big titles fail on PC, it gives smaller ones a chance to rise. With that being said, let’s take a look at the best sports games for PC in 2019.

Rocket League

Most sports games don’t tend to change over the years, as we’ve heard several times how sports games are essentially yearly roster updates that are sold for $60. If you are interested in this, Rocket League is ideal for you. Since it’s release in 2015, it became an instant sensation where you are a car playing football. This football/kart/racing hybrid game reinvented the wheel, and it’s easy to see why this game is so immensely popular.

FIFA 18

There’s no denying that the FIFA franchise is the biggest in the world and their 2018 release is the best game to date. The latest game from EA sports allows you to choose between 200 teams where you can get into the skins of your favourite football players while utilising their skills to claim glory on the pitch. You will also be able to indulge in a wide variety of modes, including The Journey, Manager Mode, and a World Cup update to keep even the most avid football fan satisfied.

NBA 2K18

Basketball games are fantastic, but NBA 2K18 takes it to the next level when it comes to graphics, animations, and overall gameplay. Developed by 2K Sports, players will have the opportunity to select from the current roster or from the all-time roster to form their ultimate basketball team. You will also be treated to a vast selection of modes to make things even more entertaining. Start off as a rookie, and you can climb the ranks to become a hall of famer in no time.

WWE 2K18

The WWE is undoubtedly the biggest wrestling franchise in the world, and their latest game from 2K Sports is just as popular. This fighting game comes equipped with an endless list of incredible wrestlers, including The Rock, Stone Cold, John Cena, and even Roman Reigns. You can also create your own unique wrestler with a bunch of cool customisation opportunities to make it worth your while. The overall gameplay is spot on, and the fights in the ring are worth checking out.

Out of the Park Baseball 19

Although Football Manager is an exciting and fun game, there’s nothing quite like baseball in terms of stats. Even though you will not find a FIFA equivalent on PC, OOTP19 still has you covered when it comes to simulation. You essentially a manager and need to use your sporting knowledge to advance in the game. It’s truly loads of fun!
